A Fitness is a collaboration of two high energy, experienced fitness trainers (and friends) Aimee Stoyles and Ashley Power. With backgrounds in dance and gymnastics and a common love for fitness, Aimee & Ashley have joined forces to bring you unique, challenging and fun fitness programs that will get you amazing results!

Ashley Power

Ashley is a positive, motivating personal trainer and group fitness instructor with a fabulous energy and a love for life! She loves helping others find their fitness passion and meet their health and fitness goals.

Ashley is a strong believer in keeping physically fit and active in order to enjoy all the things you love most. She believes that a holistic approach is the best way to achieve a healthy and enjoyable life experience. Physical health and fitness is one main component in this journey. Ashley is very passionate about working with clients to help each and every individual find their perfect balance.

Ashley has helped hundreds of clients reach their fitness goals and she would love to help you! Although you may find her fitness classes, programs and personal training physically tough, you will have fun, feel great, and see amazing results!

Aimee Stoyles

Aimee has been active for her entire life. She has taken dance lessons since she was a little girl. She fell in love with fitness from the moment she stepped into her first aerobics class at just 17 years old and she knew instantly that she wanted to be a fitness instructor one day.

She is a Can-Fit-Pro certified Fitness Instructor Specialist, Personal Training Specialist, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist as well as the only Licensed Piloxing Instructor in Newfoundland. She has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer since 2009. You may have seen her working at a local gym personal training various clients or teaching many classes from Spin to Bootcamps or Nutrition Coaching previously at Simply for Life. She is certified in many disciplines including Les Mills RPM & Bodypump and Zumba & Zumba Sentao and Piloxing.

Most recently you may have seen her teaching Bootcamps around St. John's or dancing along with Richard Simmons as the Creative & Fitness Director for Bust a Move for Breast Health St. John's.

Aimee has helped hundreds of people reach their fitness goals and she loves meeting new people and helping them work towards theirs. Come reach your goals with Aimee!

MARK NOSEWORTHY Mark is a very motivated, personable and experienced personal trainer who provides professional guidance to help people recognize their athletic and exercise potential. He teaches proper technique and guidelines to maximize specific workouts for each individual to gain strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination and balance. Mark allows individuals the opportunity to achieve their fitness goals, prevent injury and enhance their everyday lives while maintaining a fun, non intimidating environment! Mark is a personal trainer and teaches Booty Camp with A Fitness. With his hard working and honest approach let him help YOU find your fitness potential.

NICOLE DOWDEN Nicole is a passionate, upbeat fitness professional. Having had an interest in healthy living and a love of the outdoors from a young age it was no mystery where her career path would lead her. She loves helping people discover and achieve their personal goals with a motivational, energetic, and personalized approach Nicole believes that being healthy encompasses not only physical fitness but wellness of the mind and spirit as well. Challenging physical workouts are to be expected, but Nicole also believes in educating clients on living a balanced lifestyle – creating a positive relationship with exercise and giving the ability to maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle for life. Understanding that every individual has different needs and aspirations when it comes to physical and spiritual wellness is key to her client program development. Since completing her Health, Wellness, and Recreation studies in 2008 Nicole has helped countless people in all aspects of physical fitness and healthy living. She is excited to meet new clients at A-Fitness in both group and one-on-one training sessions to help you see spectacular results and accomplish your health and wellness goals. She decided to combine her love for fitness with her passion for helping others and make it a career! She is focused on helping women love their bodies and become confident with themselves. As a new member to the fitness community, Noelle is excited to meet new clients and help them achieve their goals in a supportive, non-judgmental environment! Noelle is a personal trainer and teaches Booty Camp, Mama & Baby Booty Camp and 50 & Fabulous Booty Camp with A Fitness. Noelle would love the opportunity to encourage and inspire you to meet your personal goals and expectations.

LAURA-BETH POWER We are very excited to have Laura-Beth Power (LB) as a part of the A Fitness team. LB has joined with A Fitness to offer exciting Pop-Up yoga classes. LB will be teaching Greenhouse Yoga at Murray's Garden Centre, Spring 2017! Laura-Beth (LB) is a certified yoga and meditation teacher who has been practicing yoga since 2004. LB believes that the practice of yoga is for everyone and sees it as an integral component in achieving optimal health and positive well-being. Her classes combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to empower people of all ages to step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced. Yoga is a tool to awaken one’s fullest potential: physically, intellectually and spiritually. With a blend of compassion and humour LB encourages students to maximize their opportunity, both on and off the mat by being mindful and making choices that are sustaining to both the individual and the earth. Join her on the mat for a journey towards strength, confidence, peace and ease.
